2017: The year in which Europe lost its press freedom

The year 2017, was a year in which an essential aspect of European culture disappeared: Our press freedom

Of course things started earlier, with several journalists and reporters already needing protection against religious fanatics for example, but active forms of state controlled censorship were extremely rare.

This changed in Germany: Since the 1st of October when a new censorship law in Germany became effective. The new law requires Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms to censor the content of its users according to German law.

Germany is Europe’s most populous country and the law has large consequences for a news channel like Voice of Europe. This week we received two emails that some of our tweets would be censored in Germany. One tweet was a public quote of a Russian EU ambassador on twitter. He said:

Pact tussen links en islam vormt opnieuw grootste bedreiging voor Europa

Het in 2014 gepubliceerde Engelstalige boek van historicus David Motadel over het pact tussen de islam en Hitler (‘Islam and Nazi Germany’s War’) is onlangs in het Duits vertaald, en heet ‘Für Prophet und Führer’. Het Duitse blad Focus brak tot verbazing van velen met de politieke correctheid door een artikel te wijden aan de 600.000 moslims die in dienst van de Nazi’s vochten. SS-Reichsführer Heinrich Himmler zei het al: de moslims hebben dezelfde doelstellingen als wij, namelijk de ‘wereld van de Joden bevrijden’. Uitgerekend datzelfde Duitsland –en in zijn kielzog de rest van West Europa- laat nu opnieuw eenzelfde racistische haatideologie binnen zijn grenzen toe, en geeft diens volgelingen zelfs speciale bescherming.

‘Het is toch duidelijk, wat zou de moslims in Europa en de hele wereld van ons Duitsers moeten scheiden. Wij hebben gemeenschappelijke doelen,’ zei Himmler op 11 januari 1944 tegen een moslimofficier in Bosnië. ‘Tenslotte heeft God –jullie zeggen Allah, dat is toch hetzelfde- de Führer gestuurd om Europa en de hele wereld van de Joden te bevrijden. Duitsers en moslims hebben dezelfde vijanden: bolsjewisten, Engeland, Amerika, allemaal steeds weer aangedreven door Joden.’

Nazi’s waren islamofielen, 600.000 moslims in troepen

Motadel schrijft ook dat de Führer zelf een grote fan was van de islam, en noemt hem zelfs ‘islamofiel’, een titel die veel hedendaagse politieke leiders in West Europa inmiddels bijzonder goed zou passen. Al in 1941 zei Hitler tijdens een bijeenkomst met de Nazi top (met o.a. Von Ribbentrop, Rosenberg en Goebbels) dat ‘het Mohammedanisme mij voor de hemel nog kan opwinden. Maar wanneer ik mij de saaie christelijke hemel voorstel!’ (2)

Focus wijst er verder op dat ‘de Wehrmacht en de SS behoorlijk succesvol waren bij het werven van moslim soldaten. Auteur David Motadel schat dat midden 1943 zo’n 300.000 moslims in de troepen vochten, en een jaar later 600.000.’ Die kwamen voornamelijk uit de Turkse gebieden en de Kaukasus, en minder uit Arabië. ‘De moslim soldaten golden als effectieve en wrede strijders. Alleen de Arabieren werden als niet loyaal en onbetrouwbaar beschouwd.’

‘Soros network’ in Brussels plots creating ‘Europe of mixed population’ – Hungarian PM

A network run by American-Hungarian financier George Soros has vast influence over EU bodies in Brussels and nurtures the creation of a “Europe of mixed population” by encouraging immigration, Hungary’s Prime Minister has argued. 

 

Speaking to Radio Kossuth Friday, Viktor Orban launched yet another verbal attack on George Soros, calling him a ‘political puppet master’ having vast influence over EU’s top institutions.

Soros’ people have infiltrated the European Parliament and other bodies of the 28-member bloc, Orban claimed, seeking to create “a Europe of mixed population” and have Budapest “condemned and forced to change its migration policy.”

More than 200 members of European Parliament have been listed by Soros’ “empire” as “friends to the network,” Orban went on. “There are quite a few of them in the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee [LIBE], including Hungarians,” he said.

Dames en heren,

Bedankt dat ik hier vandaag mag zijn. Ik waardeer het dat u iemand uitnodigt die uw enthousiasme voor de Europese Unie niet deelt. Of uw Europese droom zoals Euro Commissaris Frans Timmermans het zojuist noemde. Om eerlijk te zijn: zijn droom is mijn nachtmerrie.

Ik besef dat mijn mening verschilt van die van de vele leden van de Europese elite in ons midden, maar ik ben een optimist.

Ik geloof in een positieve toekomst voor Europa als een gemeenschap van onafhankelijke, soevereine en democratische landen - samenwerkend zonder een supranationale politieke unie - een Europa zonder de Europese Unie.

Ik geloof dat een echte democratie alleen kan bestaan en bloeien binnen een natiestaat. De nationale soevereiniteit gecombineerd met de binnenlandse cultuur geeft ons onze identiteit. Evenals controle over onze eigen grenzen en begroting en het recht om te beslissen hoe we het zelf als natie gebruiken.
Helaas hebben de meeste van onze regeringen steeds meer bevoegdheden overgedragen aan de EU, waardoor veel belangrijke dingen die we in de afgelopen eeuwen hebben bereikt, ondermijnd worden.

Europe’s Jihad Epidemic: Stats Show Arrests Increasing, Prison Sentences Falling

The latest EU Terrorism Situation and Trend Report (TE-SAT) reveals the number of jihadist terrorists being arrested “sharply increased” in 2016 – but their prison terms are only getting shorter.

Prepared by Europol, the bloc’s supra-national law enforcement agency, the report says member-states logged 718 jihadist arrests in 2016; up from 687 in 2015 and 395 in 2014.

It claims that, “of 142 failed, foiled and completed attacks” reported by eight EU members, the greatest number were carried out by what it describes as “ethno-nationalist and separatist extremists” (99), with “left-wing violent extremists” in second-place (27).

However, it concedes that jihadist terrorism claimed the most actual victims, and the “vast majority” of court verdicts associated with terrorism “were pronounced in relation to jihadist terrorism” – suggesting that the threat from “ethno-nationalists” is overstated in the headline figures.

Court data also shows that the average prison sentence for terrorist offences in the EU fell to just 5 years in 2016; down from 7 in 2015.

The Truth Goes Marching On

When Angela Merkel betrayed her own country by allowing its girls, boys, and women to be raped and abused by 200,000 “rapefugees” from Syria and Turkey, men from a culture that openly teaches that women and children should be degraded and that a single woman walking alone is asking to be raped, much of the world was shocked. I know I felt that way. But Merkel simply told the German media not to criticize her gross surrender to Jihad, so they shut up. Frau “Mutti” Merkel won the endorsement of her party and a sort of election, and she’s back in the saddle again. But she is a communist by indoctrination (in the former East Germany) and her new globalist empire in the EU, which also runs the UN in collusion with Jihad.

Europe is no longer democratic. When a supposedly “democratic” ruler can tell her national media to cover up an act of violent treason against her citizens, you know that all the critics are right. Marine le Pen, Geert Wilders, and Nigel Farage have been telling the truth all along, and the new aristocracy of Europe is even worse than the old one. At least the old aristocrats cared about their peoples. The new Power Class is “internationalist” in its outlook, and if that means shafting the local folks, well, so be it. That is exactly what the EU keeps doing in the most destructive way. Merkel made her decision to import those thugs by calling Recip Erdogan in Istanbul, who controls those 30 million Turks in Germany. All the Euro bureaucrats know that; only the voters are kept in the dark.

Er wachten ons donkere dagen

“Ik zie bij de meeste politici geen bereidheid om van het verleden te leren. In 2008 ben ik door Mark Rutte gevraagd om lid van de VVD te worden. Ik ben onder andere bezig geweest het adviseren van Kamerleden op gebied van Europa en Defensie.  Mijn insteek was het moderniseren van de Europese Unie: Brussel doet alleen wat het moet doen en moet verder terughoudend zijn. Daar is niets van terecht gekomen. Dat is een van de redenen dat ik vorige maand mijn lidmaatschap van de VVD heb opgezegd. Ik ben nu partijloos burger.  De bereidheid om te hervormen is afwezig bij VVD en CDA, de linkse partijen maken de problemen nog erger.

Ga niet “strategisch” stemmen

In mijn laatste stukje schreef ik dat ik niet ging stemmen. Inmiddels heb ik dat toch gedaan! Hoe komt dat? De Kiesraad bestaat uit ambtenar(r)en waar enkel de bureaus van werken. Als die van hout zijn, tenminste. Anders werkt dat ook niet. Na veel vergeefse moeite om contact te zoeken, schreef ik mijn stukje. Dat plaatste E.J. Bron. Tien minuten later komt mijn echtgenoot met een dikke envelop uit Nederland aan lopen. “Ik denk dat je hier op zit te wachten.” Fijn. De volgende dag gelijk naar de ambassade om mijn stem in te leveren. Dat probleem is voor mij dus opgelost. Voor heel veel andere Nederlanders helaas niet.

Maar daar wil ik niet over schrijven. Ik zie dat er nogal wat interesse bestaat voor twee zetelrovers met een clown (VNL) en het conservatieve equivalent van Yasser Feras (FvD). Nou heb ik persoonlijk nogal grote problemen met zowel de VNL als FvD. De heren Bontes en Van Klaveren zitten niet in de Kamer voor u, maar omdat het riant betaalt en zo komen ze lekker in het zonnetje. Nergens anders voor. Ze huurden eerst Mr. Moskowicz in. Toen hun opportunisme hem iets te gortig werd, stapte hij op. Hij vond het niet erg dat ze meer beloven dan ze kunnen waarmaken, maar onmogelijke beloftes doen (invoering van de doodstraf), zodat ze in de Kamer kunnen blijven en het grote geld incasseren, dat ging hem te ver. Daarna wisten ze een prima clown te arrangeren, die doet het goed. Verstandige investering. Mr. Theo Hiddema kwam even neuzen omdat ze beter betaalden dan de PVV, maar toen Thierry Baudet nog meer bood, ging hij daar naar toe. Op zulke partijen stem ik niet.

We are now less than 24 hours away from the Hungarian referendum on mandatory migrant quotas, and the propaganda push against Prime Minister Viktor Orbán — while not as massive as the blitz against Donald Trump — is intensifying.

Normally the media don’t pay much attention to Hungary, but I noticed a big spread of articles this morning on tomorrow’s referendum. They all, without exception, were totally negative about Orbán’s stance, and some of them were quite vicious. The worst was probably CNN. Here’s a representative sample from the WaPo.

Add to this the coverage of what’s happening in Syria, and you can quite clearly see that the Narrative is being enforced across the board (exception: Breitbart). There is no real dissenting voice; except for BB all outlets follow the Soros-approved playbook.

Hungary Blasts EU with Common Sense on Islam

When you pick up your ballot paper this Thursday, you have it in your hands to transform Britain’s current democratic arrangements for the better. You can change the whole course of European history – and if you vote Leave, I believe that change will be overwhelmingly positive.

What is the Remain camp offering? Nothing. No change, no improvement, no reform; nothing but the steady and miserable erosion of parliamentary democracy in this country. If we vote Remain, we stay locked in the back of the car, driven by someone with an imperfect command of English, and going a direction we don’t want to go.

Als je het nieuws mag geloven van het afgelopen jaar, zijn ze in Brussel enorm druk met het beheersen en terugdringen van de immigrantenstromen en wordt het ene na het andere plan uit de kast getrokken om door het afkopen van Turkije en Noord-Afrika die stroom beheersbaar te maken. Wanneer er een paar bootjes minder aankomen op Kos, gaat de vlag al uit.

Dat zijn allemaal leugens.

De ondergang-chaos die ons nu overkomt, is namelijk precies wat de EU al jarenlang voor ogen heeft; de welbewuste vernietiging van Europa.

Dit is een doelgericht georganiseerde demografische chaos van honderdduizenden, miljoenen, die op uitnodiging naar Europa komen, zonder dat ze hier iets te zoeken hebben. Frontex deed vandaag alweer een voorspelling van weer driehonderdduizend Afrikanen via de Middellandse Zee.

Switzerland withdraws application to join the EU

Proponents of the motion want to bring clarity to EU-Switzerland relations.   


The Swiss parliament on Wednesday voted to officially withdraw the country’s dormant application to join the European Union.

Following a vote in the lower house, the government will now tell the EU to “consider [the application] as withdrawn,” Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter was quoted as saying by the Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
